After the surgery I became very weak, lost muscle form and tone, which caused my lower back to loosen up. I have severe nerve pain and hypersensitivity. My doctor switched me to Zanaflex. I can now honestly say that this medication is the best muscle relaxer I have ever taken. It relieves my back pain very well!

I believe that the Zanaflex is relaxing the muscles on my scalp and face which stops most headaches from occuring. Make sure you are ready for bed because you will go to bed. This medicine has helped me so much. Zanaflex is not addictive and not a controlled substance which is fantastic.

After it became effective singularly, I began using it and I'm still realizing positive results using this regimen. I do experience some minor muscle fatigue and occasional dry mouth while using Zanaflex, however nothing close in terems of negative side effects as compared to other medications.

I am on 4mg 3x daily and my experience so far has been good. I totally get good rest at night and I must say during the day my back doesn't feel like a concrete block. Movement like walking is more at ease too although I'm still a lil slow. Overall I'd definitely recommend zanaflex.

August 18, 2019 Nelly ★★★★★ I have been taking this medicine for chronic pain for about 9 years and it works great for me. However, the tizanidine does make me sleepy, but mainly for the first 40 mins or so, but after that I am fine. I haven't had any side effects from this medicine. Even though I have been taking the medication so long, it still works just as it did when I first started taking it. I have a long standing back pain problems due lifting. These tizanidine tablets are my lifesaver as it is not just a painkiller.
